The New Paltz Rotary welcomes you to our website, and to our meetings, held every Thursday at noon at the Shea O'Brien Restaurant,  127 Main Street, in the village of New Paltz.

Join us for a great luncheon and for fellowship, education, and networking.

Our club is one of about 32,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries. Rotary is a volunteer organization of 1.2 million business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service and help build goodwill and peace.  The New Paltz Rotary Club is proud to be a part of this movement and our members are committed to be an influence for goodwill and support for the local community.

To quote one of our long time members, who, when asked why he was a member of Rotary, said, " I'm a member of Rotary because I believe Rotary does more good in the community than any other service club I know of."   Service Above Self is the motto and mission of the New Paltz Rotary Club.

The New Paltz Rotary Club works hard throughout the year to raise money for the more than $9,000 of scholarships presented annually to local students, for the St. John Bosco Home, for the Fishes and Loaves program, and for the many other charitable organizations and program.  The Club has hosted  Rotary International Exchange Students from France, Italy, and Spain, and is hosting a student from Austria during the 2012-13 school year.

We are looking forward to many more students visiting us in the future.  It is a goal of Rotary to attain Peace through Service, and the International Exchange program is a critical aspect of our goal. Rotary Park at the intersection of Main Street and the Rail Trail is another example of the service to the community from the New Paltz Rotary Club.

The New Paltz Rotary has a long history in the community and has been a seed club for the Highland Rotary and for the Southern Ulster Clubs.  The Club welcomes all visiting Rotarians to join us on Thursdays at Noon,  and invites anyone interested in the mission and goals of Rotary to join us, learn more about Rotary, and become a member of "the best service Club in the community."
